Private literature[edit]

You are right about the private literature, but we need to leave it to the Legal Department to deal with it, as they are experienced and qualified to handle it. The books clearly indicate that they are the property, not of the possessor, but of the Watch Tower Society (or something similar). - CobaltBlueTony 03:59, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the info Tony. I must say that i was more than a little surprised when i saw that you can download the entire "Organised to do Jehovah's will" and the "Pay Attention" books from the wikipedia page List of Jehovah's Witnesses literature. All of the other websites that i know of that had a version of the "Pay Attention" book that could be downloaded in its entirity seem to have been either shut down or have removed this option. JW controversies[edit]

I am very happy that this can be resolved. I admit to being a bit hardheaded at times. But I really believe that this is a controversial issue that should at least be touched upon. JW's may not be fully aware of how their views appear to others. Thanks. Cestusdei 04:01, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lucy, I am satisfied with the way the article was changed to reflect this controversy. I don't want to pick a fight when the issue has been resolved. I think that in a way this debate shows why such a section was need in the article. It is a controversial issue. JW's and Catholics do not get along very well. That is a fact. I don't think it will change so long as we are regarded as the evil satanic whore of babylon. The JW's have changed their doctrines frequently. Maybe someday this one will go the way of the dodo also. One may hope.Cestusdei 01:18, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
