I am writing to ask you about your addition to circular buffer. I would like to re-use this code in a small program that I am writing, and as it is licenced under the GFDL, and my program is GPL, I cannot use it directly without your permission, or the permission of whomever wrote the code. Can you tell me whom the author of the code is, and if it is yourself, I would request permission to use the code in a GPL program.
