Please keep POV off the Lan Di stub. His weight and height had nothing to do with his ability to fight against Ryo, his martial arts skills compared to that of Ryo's own (which were unrefined and rash) were the biggest reason as to why he was able to get the drop on Ryo (for further proof, play Shenmue II some time and watch seemingly smaller and older men show Ryo a thing or two).
