The FITASC page

[edit]

Hello,

I am new to this, so I don't know how to proceed.

I am the President of the Canadian Clay Target Sports Federation, the Canadian affiliate to FITASC, which is headquartered out of Paris, France. I am also one of two International Sporting referees in Canada - this designation is the highest possible level for officiating FITASC events.

I was looking at the FITASC page, and I found it was incorrect. FITASC is an organization that administers several clay target games globally. One of the more popular disciplines under their umbrella is "Sporting". In the USA and in Canada, unfortunately, Sporting is commonly referred to as "FITASC", which is not the proper term, but it is the colloquial term in common use.

Correcting this will require a major rewrite of the article, something I am certainly prepared to do, but I would like to better understand the process before I start doing something like that.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
