Ajit Mohan

[edit]

Hello, Macrobreed2! I noticed you updated the Ajit Mohan entry last month. I've submitted a couple edit requests on his behalf as part of my work at Beutler Ink, and I was curious if you might be interested in taking a look at the changes I've proposed.

Over at User:Inkian Jason/Ajit Mohan, you'll see I've added a few subsection headings for the Career section (for organizational purposes), relocated text highlighted in orange, and added text highlighted in green. I had asked User:Timtrent if they'd be willing to review the proposed changes, since they approved the draft at Article for Creation. However, they are not interested in revisiting the draft so I've broken down my request into two edit requests:

To summarize the proposed changes, I've moved some existing text from the Board service and recognition section to the Career section (to group related text) and added detail about Hotstar and Meta India, per reliable sources. This diff shows proposed changes, if that's helpful.

I'd like to think these are fairly non-controversial changes, but I welcome your feedback. If you are comfortable with these updates, you can copy over markup at User:Inkian Jason/Ajit Mohan from the "short description" to "Authority control" (you'll just want to remove the "Font color" templates). If you're not interested, that's no problem, I will continue to search for editors who might be willing to help out. I won't be editing the article myself given my conflict of interest.

Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 17:22, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello User:Inkian Jason! Thank you for your message and your interest in improving the article, Ajit Mohan. I appreciate your transparency about your conflict of interest and your efforts to follow Wikipedia’s guidelines.
After taking a closer look at the suggested article, it seems that there are some issues with neutrality and promotion in the language used. I appreciate your willingness to address this and I think it's important to ensure that all information added to Wikipedia is presented in a neutral tone.
I would be happy to take a look at the proposed changes you've suggested and try to incorporate them into the article in a more neutral way. If you could give me a few days to review and make the necessary adjustments, that would be great.
In the meantime, if you come across any other issues or have additional suggestions, feel free to reach out to me. Thanks again for your contributions to Wikipedia.
