Request reason:

you are still yet to answer my question... i asked you if the URL for the franchise website was removed would the article comply with the rules. You didn't answer my question and then proceeded to block the page. Can you please answer my original question and also tell me why this article below does not comply with the rules of Wikipedia. I have looked at other articles yet i fail to see the difference between our article below and other articles in domesitc cleaning sector. The website link has been removed therefore there is no promotion or advertising. Maid2Clean is a UK based domestic cleaning agency and franchise business with 160+ traded territories in the UK as of January 2014. Founded in 1993 by Mike & Elaine Hanrahan, Maid2Clean was originally a small business based in Cheshire, England. In 2003, the founders decided to Franchise the business and a decade later Maid2Clean is now one of the leading domestic cleaning businesses in the UK with over 120 Franchisees trading in 160 territories. As of January 2014, Maid2Clean is trading in the bulk of the UK. With over 4,000,000 cleans to date Maid2Clean also provides work for more than 9,000 cleaners in the UK. Maid2Clean is also an international business. In 2013, existing franchisees from Central Manchester who also traded West Cornwall relocated to Malta and purchased a Master License to launch the business in Malta. Maid2Clean also had unsuccessful attempts at launching in Canada and Australia but due to unforeseen circumstances the investors failed to proceed with the business opportunity. International growth is something which Maid2Clean M.D Mike Hanrahan is keen to pursue. In November 2013 Maid2Clean appeared on PMG TV featuring in a “How to invest in the right franchise” programme which was aired on Tuesday 12th November 2013 which featured M.D Mike Hanrahan. Maid2Clean has also featured in the popular franchise publication Franchise World during 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013. In 2012 Maid2Clean received industry recognition from the BFA HSBC Franchisor of the year competition competing amongst the likes of O2, McDonalds and Autosmart. This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --Maid2Clean Franchise (talk) 15:15, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The page is about Maid2Clean Franchise. I am not trying to promote anything.

If the url was removed from the article would the article then comply with the rules ?

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. If you intend to edit constructively in other topic areas, you may be granted the right to continue under a change of username. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you may consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions here about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
    • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
    • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Your future at Wikipedia

[edit]

First, your username implies that you represent the company. As for the draft, I deleted it for now. Please read WP:42 and Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. If you wish to be unblocked to help build the encyclopedia, we can talk about that. That would involve a new username. As for writing about the company, that probably won't work out. It doesn't seem to pass WP:42, and even if it did, someone else should be writing about it, not someone from the company. So, what do you think?
