April 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Someguy1221. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Faith Fay, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Someguy1221 (talk) 00:21, 13 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Faith Fay. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Someguy1221 (talk) 04:54, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

April 2022[edit]

Stop icon Your recent edits could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Here is the diff in question: "We will involve the authorities next, so the harassment is stopped." wizzito | say hello! 22:28, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Malcolm Mekura. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. wizzito | say hello! 22:25, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Editing on your own or someone else's behalf[edit]

Please see Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Help for more information.

Wikipedia's policy on how to handle material about living persons, biographies of living persons, applies to every page on the project, including talk pages. If Wikipedia has published material about you, or someone you represent, and you need help, you can:

`

"All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking."

Please discuss content and sourcing on article talk page and achieve consensus for any changes Please make WP:EDITREQUESTs on the article's talk page. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:11, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Important notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please note that Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy and the anti-harassment policy, specifically its section prohibiting outing, apply to all pages, including those for requesting administrative action. If you violate either of these policies in your future edits, you may be blocked from editing or topic-banned from the area without further warning. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:01, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Consider this your last chance.[edit]

You have been informed repeatedly of Wikipedia policies regarding sourcing, promotional editing, conflict of interest etc. If you continue in the manner you have been, your next message here will be notification that you have been reported on the Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard, where an immediate block from editing will almost certainly result. AndyTheGrump (talk) 13:15, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

AndyTheGrump your time is greatly appreciated. I added two recent acting credits and cited from a reliable source, since you are rejecting the TV guide listing of shows the actor is on and the Productions episode on IMDB pages I am unsure of what else to cite. Thank you for your hard work. Malcolm Mekura (talk) 16:30, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You have already been informed of Wikipedia policy on the requirement for appropriate independent reliable sources on several occasions. Which, regardless of the validity of the source itself, doesn't include using something that says that an individual appeared in the cast of a TV show to support a claim that they were a 'co-star' in the series. And I am not going to discuss this further with you until I receive a straight answer to a simple question: what is your relationship to Faith Fay? Your entire editing history has concerned her biography, and your (correctly rejected) attempt to control the article through page protection made it entirely clear that you were in possession of unpublished personal information about her.
