1) All sections are formatted well and citations are properly used. Uses and ethnobotany sections are interesting. 2)In the lead "united states" needs to be "United States" also in the lead "Archaeological evidence has shown that M. verticillatathe "M." needs to be italics. I also did not see a Taxo-box. 3)The most important change would be the addition of a Taxo-box. 4)N/A 5)From the sandbox editor you are at 953 words, from the "Read Only" page you are at roughly 1120 words(not sure which one Bolin wants us to use), either way if you add the Taxo-box that should put to close to or over your target of 1200 words.

Overall very good article just needs a few minor adjustments.
