A tag has been placed on Endbringers Anonymous,, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Hi. In reply to your message on my talk page, I see no reason to start an email conversation about the deletion of your "Endbringers Anonymous" article. See Wikipedia:Notability for our guidelines on what counts as subjects with notability to have an article. WP:NOT might also have some useful information. Understand this is no judgement about the organization or topic other than how famous it is. If Endbringers Anonymous has been the subject of coverage by the New York Times or the BBC, you might have a case for an article; if all google finds is a tripod.com page about it, I don't think you do. Any edits from you to help us build a better free encyclopedia covering notable subjects in accordance with our guidelines is welcome. Likewise, the tripod site is not a page about the organization, it is a page used by the founders prior to the actual founding of our organization. Of course if I personally heard about it is not the criteria of notability. The point is that you have given zero evidence of notability. The only google hit is for a tripod site that you yourself say is "not creditable". Then what can you offer for notability and Wikipedia:Verifiability? The guidelines linked above (please take time to read them) I think are fairly clear. I resign the point on an account that wikipedia requires that your citeable source be on google. I regret the fact that wikipedia was not as reliable as I once thought.

If you had read the links, you would have found out that it needn't be google. Print sources (academic journals, main stream press) etc are perfectly acceptible sources. But you need to offer something. -- Infrogmation 02:34, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
