Secondary suite[edit]

Thank you for the message and explanation. In my time editing here, I have seen a lot of people make an account with the sole purpose of promoting their own product, company, website, etc. So when I saw your edit inputting a link to a website, I thought that may be the case. Even though you are affiliated with the site, based on your explanation I don't think you're intention was solely to promote it. However, a much better strategy would be for you to add new information to that page taken from the site and use the site as a reference. Check out the page Help:citing sources for help with that. If you want to add the link back in for now, I'm ok with it but can't promise that another editor won't remove it. You could look over the external link policy too to learn more. Let me know if you need help with anything else. AdventurousSquirrel (talk) 02:03, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
