National AFV Day Odyssey

[edit]

Odyssey is a biennial nationwide event, to be held on October 12, 2006, that is dedicated to promoting awareness of alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles.

National AFV Day Odysseys inaugural year in 2002 drew crowds from California to Connecticut with sites in thirty-one states nationwide. In 2004, fifty-four sites in thirty-four states/provinces throughout North America participated by hosting activities such as educational fairs or conferences, networking breakfasts/luncheons, information on AFV training opportunities, and AFV ride-and-drive demonstrations for policymakers, students, fleet managers, and the general public.

If you would like to host a site, help host a site for Odyssey 2006, or if you need more information, please contact Odyssey Manager Julie Whiteman at NAFTC Headquarters via e-mail (julie.whiteman@mail.wvu.edu ) or by calling 304-293-7882.
