looks good. here are some quick comments. will write more later.

  1. I need to remind you of the balance wikipedia editors have to strike between WP:No original research and WP:Copyright violation. While the first policy discourages original research, the second discourages exact copying of text from other sources. Please, try to rewrite the sentences in your own words without altering the underlying meaning.
  2. WP:Lead says that the lead should summarise everything in the article. A reader who doesnt have the time to read the entire article should be able to get a glimpse of what it contains. It can have a few small paragraphs. --CarTick 20:56, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Original research just means that we can not make original claims. For an imaginary example, let us say there is one reference which says that Tamil inscriptions were found in Australia. What we can not do is that because Tamil inscriptions are found in Autralia, the ancient rulers of Australia were Tamils. That is original research done by us and not acceptable.
On the other hand, Robert Hardgrave says,

"The Nadar claims were not without weight, for traditions among the Nadans and the existence of the ruins beneath the teris suggest that they might well be hier to some early pandyan dynasty"

it would be copyright violation if you copy and paste. but, if you rewrite it as, let us say,

"Robert Hardgrave suggests that Nadars might indeed be the descendants of Pandyan dynasty and points to the ruins found near the teris and Nadar traditions as evidence."

it is not original research anymore. This is not the best sentence, but you get my point.--CarTick 16:22, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
one more important thing missing is Upper cloth controversy. I guess Nadars living in Tirunelveli, Tiruchendur and Viridhunagar districts dont even know this happened. Nevertheless, this was an important event in history of Nadars living in modern Kerala and Kanyakumari districts of Tamil Nadu. Not including a few lines will be a blatant violation of WP:NPOV. --CarTick (talk) 12:54, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i am not gonna exclude anythin.trust me.will include it.dis happened to the nadar climbers of travancore.not to the nadans of travancore(hardgrave).the nadans had the privilege to wear their upper cloths and were also wealthy like their tiruchendur counterparts n respected by the other communities.also please keep dat in mind.i still have a looot to write.nadar mahajana sagham, dakshina mara nadar sagham, success in business, poltics, their relationship with the maravars today.the dennis templeman's book contains a lotta info abt the present status of the nadars.hope i had the book.please give me time to complete.hav another question for u.i see u r bothered by some users (who claim dat they r nadars but act like nairs).can people use multiple accounts in wiki.i see a pattern.dey r against u bcoz of the polyandry issue.dis all started bcuz of geek..n still continues.geeks profile claims dat he is on vacation.but i doubt it.hmm.,i am not makin any confirmations.the list of nairs article says dat the ceo of hcl is vineeth nayar which is crap of course.the ceo of hcl is now roshni nadar and vineeth nayar was jus playin a temporary role,duh.Mayan302 (talk) 16:41, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am glad you are planning to include it. If the Nadans of Travancore were not descriminated, include that as well. Take your time. we dont have deadline in wikipedia, we are all volunteers after all. Whether it is polyandry or the upper cloth controversy, both are facts. I dont know why people are so bothered about the past. Neither is something one needs necessarily to be ashamed of. It is the future which is in one's hands. if one cant confront the past honestly, how do they think they can shape their future.
we are not allowed to have multiple accounts without declaring it. some socks were already blocked in the Nair article. I am not bothered by them.
I dont know who is the CEO of HCL now. but i understand what you mean, Roshni Nadar's article says that she is the CEO. If either one of the claims is incorrect, it can be corrected with valid references. --CarTick (talk) 17:29, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
