That's fine, but consider ...

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Daniel Case (talk) 02:35, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Daniel,

I totally understand the points you mentioned above. I just wanted to update the current informations with the most recent ones. I do not want to make propaganda or anything else like that, which does not comply with Wikipedia Policy.

As you can see, I just added more accurate information into the already existing texts, and the updated game list / revenue.

If you want to discuss more about my writing, feel free to tell me.

Many thanks.

Hello Daniel,

I have no news about my username changing/unblocking. I'd like to know if you understood that I'm not making a business directory of the company ; I solely updated the out of date informations with the last one. The modifications I've made have been changed because of a suspicion of vandalism. I totally understand the guidelines of Wikipedia but I don't understand why my contribution is questionable, except my unsername.

Regards, Sébastien.

@Daniel Case: I'm alright with this so long as he understands WP:COI. Ks0stm (TCGE) 17:17, 12 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Sebastien, do you? (You can read this if you need a less dense version of the policy) Daniel Case (talk) 17:49, 12 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I’m really sorry about the mistakes I made. I should have avoid the issue we’re currently discussing by asking to another contributor to update the Wikipedia Page in order to avoid COI issues. I didn’t want to get involved into this problem. I won’t make the same mistake again. I deeply apologize for this.

As I said before, I solely wanted to update the page, without being partial or non-neutral. You can see by yourself that the modifications I made are neutrals, impartial and can easily be verified by everyone. I would never bring troubles to anyone with my contributions. I understand that Wikipedia must remain neutral by avoiding any COI conflicts. I didn’t wanted to violate this critical point. I won’t edit myself these pages in the future and will follow the advices. I’m totally open to discussion and I don’t want you to have a bad image of me. I will follow the guidelines more carefully.

How do you want to proceed? Do you want to withdraw any modifications I made and let the community chose to do so or not? Or will you let my contribution online, considering that it’s as neutral as possible? Plus, I agree to change my username in order to comply with the Wikipedia Policy and avoid any COI suspicions in the future.

Regards, Sébastien.

If we unblock you and you agree to abide by the COI policy, are you interested in editing anything else? Daniel Case (talk) 18:15, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Daniel, As long as I can bring my contribution to any other article, I will. And, of course, I will abide by the COI policy and won't make the same mistake again. Sébastien.

Hello @Daniel Case: do you have any news about my unblocking and my username change? Many Thanks. FocusHome (talk) 08:18, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
