Hello, thanks for the note. The problem is that you marked your edit as minor and stated "reorganized content. no additions or subtractions" - when neither was the case. You changed the meaning and re-framed the content completely. Frankly, if you're a new editor, I would avoid contentious issues like gun control altogether, until you get acclimated to the rules of Wikipedia. (Myself, I started on Wikipedia editing articles about terrorism, and I ended up getting banned a couple of times.. I would not recommend the same path). However, if you insist, you can go to Talk:Assault_weapon and discuss your issues with the article. The problem is, the article has already been discussed extensively, and there is most likely a consensus to include most of the content there now (and in general there is a presumption in favor of the status quo). You could attempt to make a new section in the article (as opposed to reframing existing text) about criticism of the term assault weapon (as you appear to think it's an invented term). However, you would need to use WP:Reliable sources to support your content. And I would still advise discussing on the talk page first. Last word: people who come to WP believing that it is fundamentally biased will generally not last long, so remember that everyone here is a VOLUNTEER editor (like yourself) and that they all have their own biases (like yourself) and that there is no systematic bias in favor of certain viewpoints (and even IF there was you wouldn't be able to change it anyway).
