A tag has been placed on Two Mundos Magazine, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 00:52, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

October 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 00:54, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in this edit to Two Mundos Magazine. Inappropriate links include links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that serve as advertising or promotion. Thank you.   — Jeff G. How can this be an inappropriate article if I've seen over 25 magazines on Wiki with the same text? i.e. Ocean Drive Magazine and Heso Magazine in Japan - we wrote it similar to them. I post the same style they write with verifiable sources - The Washington Post - and still get rejected. Two Mundos is the only bilingual magazine on the East Coast not translated, according to CNN and the publication is getting tons of requests from college students throughout the U.S. for more information on the magazine. Please help!!!!! --MiamiPr (talk) 01:07, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There aren't 25 other articles here with the same text, and even if there were, it wouldn't matter because each subject stands or falls on its own merits (see this page). Though the WaPo article/video is a big help, it still needs more to help prove that the magazine meets notability standards. You need more references in addition to the Post stuff. Moreover, it appears that you are working as a PR person for the magazine, given your user name and the style of the article, which violates our conflict of interest guidelines. Wikipedia administrators and editors take a very dim view of PR types posting articles which promote their clientèle. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 01:19, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

All you've done over the last three days over two separate accounts is to attempt to promote this magazine and its variations. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:33, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
