One clarification first: I'll do my best to support you here, and to get any incorrect information removed as quickly as possible. Replacing it, or adding new content to the article, however, is more complex and comes with a few issues, such as the "COI" guideline mentioned above.

In general, I can suggest: Remove everything that is libellous and blatantly wrong. That's okay. However, please do not add new content directly to the article -- and if you absolutely feel that you have to, please provide a reliable source for this.
