With regards to the article I recently tagged for speedy deletion, the best thing to look over is the biography inclusion guideline.

Biography guideline

[edit]

Hio. As noted, WP:BIO says we have articles on those who are elected to major office, but those who run for minor office are not notable on that basis. An alternative criterion is where the individual has been the primary subject of multiple, non-trivial coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Election coverage does not really count there, we're looking for evidence that the individual has been documented before and will be documented after a single event. Sometimes we have articles on a particular election for a major office, which will include a list of the various candidates, but I don't see this as being a likely candidate. Sorry, this happens depressingly often and it's not your fault (or indeed ours). Wikipedia is big, and the rule structure takes a bit of getting around. Think "encyclopaedia" :-) Guy (Help!) 10:53, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Heurich Brewery

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Heurich Brewery, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
