A tag has been placed on Haldimand House, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

advert

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. B1atv 21:18, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you.

third warning[edit]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. B1atv 21:41, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you.B1atv 21:27, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your new articles tonight[edit]

You have added a lot of new articles this evening of very poor quality. Many of these are of buildings or other features of a town, but the articles do not make clear where these things are. They do not cite independent sources and many do not come up when a Google search is undertaken for them. I suggest you take a break and reconsider your articles; or at least slow down and ensure you put a bit more effort into them. Many of them do not appear to be sufficiently notable for articles in their own right and are likely to be deleted - either using the speedy deletion process or through community consensus. Have you considered merging the articles into one about the town? That is likely to survive the deletion process, but as they stand you could find all your work deleted. One final thing - please do not remove the speedy deletion tags. The tags give you instructions on how to contest them. If you continue to remove these tags on pages you have created you will be blocked from editing. The tags alert administrators to check the pages. Sometimes they will agree with the request for speedy deletion and other times they will disagree. But it is there decision to take, not yours. B1atv 21:48, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
