No Prob on the Edit
[edit]No prob, everything was fixed there. Just a heads up though, usually new comments go at the bottom of the page. Also, i've had an urge to create an internet radio station and/or Low Power FM station in my area as a side project for awhile now. How hard is it to start one?(other than just having a cheezy Live 365 account that is) Karmafist 23:47, 18 August 2005 (UTC)
LPFM and Royalties
[edit]The station i'd start would probably be big name free if only to avoid royalties, but i'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
As for the legal parts of getting an LPFM license from the FCC, these guys are experts at that stuff, they've helped non-profit radio stations get going across the country. Karmafist 17:39, 19 August 2005 (UTC)
Recording words of disputed pronunciation
[edit]Hi, I just saw your note on the talk page for List of words of disputed pronunciation. My personal suggestion would be to pronounce the words all the ways they're listed; this would be in keeping with the apparent goal of the article, which is not only to list the words, but also provide the various possible proununciations. This would be quite a feat, especially for a first recording! I think it would be a neat one to have though. Good Luck!
If you'd like some more opinions or suggestions, try asking over at the Spoken Wikipedia project. --Laura S 23:15, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Nick Thompson Promo Photo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Nick Thompson Promo Photo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
