You shouldn't edit Wikipedia to suit current political bias. Robert Milligan was a prominent merchant. Slave owning isn't a profession, and even if it was, that was not why Milligan became known. There is rightful condemnation of his slave-owning, and it is right that this is addressed on his page, but pretending that this is why he is known to us is provably false.

So when exactly did I say all this? In fact, I removed the part where it was said that he was known for being a slave owner as it is simply not true. So, dear anonymous coward: Why the heck did you freaking create my user page with an insulting and provably wrong statement like this? --Mneisen (talk) 22:00, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
