Well, to be frank, it doesn't work right now. Posting something there causes it to break. These templates are very buggy. That's why I think that you should stick to the traditional format, like on the main userbox listings. For example:

Code Result
{{User:The_Userboxer/Flatboxes/Wikiproject}}
This user participates in Wikiprojects.

Et cetera.

Or another method, specifically for these flat ones, with a category system:

Category title
Code {{User:The_Userboxer/Flatboxes/Wikiproject}}
Result
This user participates in Wikiprojects.
Code {{User:Monkeyblue/boxes/flat}}
Result
This user uses flat userboxes.
Category title
Code {{User:Monkeyblue/boxes/en}}
Result
en This user is a native speaker of English.
Code {{User:Monkeyblue/boxes/wikipedian|parameter}}

This user has been Wikipedian since parameter.

I, personally, like this one, because it looks nicer and can be columned. However, there is a lot of wikicode to navigate through.
