What is the Gospel?: Explained in 4 simple steps

The points of the gospel mentioned below are in no way a cumulative or in depth discussion of Christian beliefs. Rather, these statements are a summary of the core beliefs of Christianity, summarized in their simplest form.

The Gospel in Four Simple Points: • We believe that God created the world and everything in it, made us in his own image, and that he loves us very much. • We were created to be in a relationship with God, but as a result of our sin, we were separated from God, unable to receive His love. • So God sent His one and only son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins, and was raised to life three days later, conquering sin and death. • As a result of His sacrifice, if we choose to receive this gift and repent of our sins, we are able to experience God’s love and enter into eternal life with Him.
