For continuing to make unhelpful edits...

  • Changing date formatting: If a linked date is listed as [[29 May]], you do not have to change it. It is not incorrect, and, depending on how user preferences are set, they are automatically converted to display in whatever format the user wants. Watch:
  • Wikifying dates unnecessarily: It is not necessarily to wikify every single year in an article.
  • Adding unnecessary text: If a person's birth and death dates are listed as "(1973-2006)," you don't have to change it to "(born 1973-died 2006)"; it is generally known what the dates refer to.
  • Moving articles by cutting and pasting instead of using the "move" link

...this account is blocked indefinitely, MascotGuy. If you plan to continue ignoring other users, and making bad edits, your new accounts will continue to be blocked as they spring up. tregoweth 16:31, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

Hi there, You don't need to put something in a category if it's already in a subcategory; since [[Category:Kellogg cereals]] is a subcategory of [[Category:Breakfast cereals]], you don't need to put it in [[Category:Breakfast cereals]] too. Hope this helps, Fourohfour 14:28, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
