Speedy deletion of Haley Limited
[edit]A tag has been placed on Haley Limited, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Operating (talk) 01:17, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Haley Limited, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:11, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello Beeblebrox, Has that second page I submitted on Haley Limited been deleted officially? I thought I followed all the guidelines and avoided promotional language etc. When I was editing it last night the "speedy deletion" mark appeared even before I had put in the citations, one of which was an independent verification announcement. If that wasn't enough, is there anything else that would have made the entry encyclopedic? Thanks. MrKeeg (talk) 17:38, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- It appears it has been deleted, but that doesn't mean it can't be recreated as an appropriate article. Given that it has been speedily deleted twice, I would advise you to request a copy of the deleted article and work on it in your user space until it is properly referenced and free of promotional language. Click here to see the list of administrators who can help you with that. It's difficult to say now what else may have been wrong with it, since I can't see it right now either, but you may also want to read the general notability guideline, which is here, and make sure this organization qualifies. Good Luck! Beeblebrox (talk) 19:21, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- I nominated the page for speedy delete the first time. Unfortunately the article read like an advert. Based upon what you wrote my opinion is that this company will also fail notability every time and will get deleted again, so it isn't worthwhile you spending more time recreating this article. That is of course just my opinion, and you are free to try. Operating (talk) 23:11, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
