Re PCSD changes
[edit]See WP:UNDUE. Every school district has this, unfortunately. I grew up in North Carolina, and much of that was worse than this. That school district doesn't have this. Racism is a part of our society, unfortunately, and if every single incident was highlighted, then this entire encyclopedia would be nothing but racism incidents. Regarding the We Want Slurpees, that's sourced by a blog. I'm Indian and find nothing objectionable to that. It's just people overreacting. See WP:RS. Regarding White Supremacy, what does that have to do with the school district? What does the library thing have to do with anything? There are fewer minority writers, and therefore fewer minority books. Discrimination in discipline is present everywhere, but there's no way of knowing if the source you added was reliable. Racism among students... should we highlight every single thing? Black history month scandal, that's just teacher incompetence. What does one parent stepping down have to do with anything. Again, WP:UNDUE. There's predominantly white culture everywhere. Much of this article is completely useless; most everything should be deleted. - Happy to remove key details that are sourced from a blog. However, I am providing fact-based information from reliable local news outlets -- you are unfamiliar with them, kindly take a look at the references. You will see they have validity and reliability to them. If others wish to include a more well-rounded view of the school system they are more than welcome to do so. I am simply adding what my own investigations have found. You're personal experiences and opinions should not hinder the spreading of information on this forum. If you feel the word choice (such as "White Supremacy") is inaccurate, feel free to make those edits. Deleting the entire section is the answer. Mrbubz (talk) 20:32, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
- Exactly — see WP:NOTFORUM. Wikipedia is not a forum. It's an encyclopedia. Also, please read WP:UNDUE and WP:OR. I've formatted your reply; hope you don't mind. Thanks, Thanoscar21talk, contribs 16:54, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
