Welcome![edit]

Hello, MrsLimaBean, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited, Phunware, may be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article.

If you do have a conflict of interest with Phunware, please read through Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with close associations. One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, broadly construed, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some other pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. I know this is a lot of info, so if you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question.

And if I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Thanks! - Whisperjanes (talk) 17:41, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I am not compensated directly or indirectly. I started trying to edit religious articles, but moved to corperate articles as my first experience. Mostly, I was trying to organize the information, but got excited about updating with new information. I'd like to add a table of contents and more robust orginization like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fitbit , but if you think that is not prudent I can leave this article alone for now and go back to religion  :) MrsLimaBean (talk) 23:08, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply, MrsLimaBean :) And feel free to keep editing the article. It was mostly this edit that made me think you might have a conflict of interest. If you don't mind some advice, I'd stay away from quotes from company CEOs while you're starting out - usually CEOs have a conflict of interest or are trying to promote something themselves, so their phrasing often doesn't work well in an encyclopedia. I've found the page Wikipedia:Reliable sources (and/or Wikipedia:Independent sources) to be helpful when choosing what to cite in an article, in case that's of any help.
And if you're curious, the table of contents appears on articles automatically once the article has a few sections headings (if you'd like, you can read more about that here: WP:SECTION). And I think adding more organization to the article would be a good idea. Let me know if you have any questions, but otherwise, happy editing! - Whisperjanes (talk) 06:44, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the guidance! I did ponder on that quote for a while, I was trying to provide context but you are right about bias/none-nutrality. I'll try to find a way to word that better or use a better source. Thank you again! MrsLimaBean (talk) 13:59, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
