Notability of Pixiku Poetry
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Pixiku Poetry, by Smokizzy (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Pixiku Poetry seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Pixiku Poetry, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 14:47, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
I have declined to delete this article, because speedy deletion as non-notable can not be used for poetry or articles about poetry, just the types of things provided for is WP:CSD A7 However, this is not a good WP article. It probably will be nominated for deletion, unless you can provide some actual published sources--in particular for the poems quoted . As for the poems, you cannot use whole poems taken from the internet, because they are copyright to the people who wrote or posted them. You must either use an example you have written yourself, or a poem written before 1900 -- and say when it was written -- or a poem that has been specifically put into the public domain or released under our GFDL license according to WP:Copyright.
I also fixed up the format to a more formal standard---WP is an encyclopedia, not a poetry anthology DGG (talk) 15:11, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Y'all... I thought just regular people were helping me fix up Pixiku Poetry article to be helpful and you look official wanting to delete. Just because I invented Pixiku Poetry doesn't mean any less worthy and, in fact, highly thought of by all who learn to do Pixiku Poetry. So I entered totally as a definition and because we all have something quotable to say once in awhile...including you. As far as an anthology. Not creating on Wikepedia as an anthology because I have two poetry websites I use that for and this is an encyclopedia website. Perhaps, I gave one too many examples yet that was just indecision and anyone is welcome to delete all but one or a couple. It'd be sad to delete the entire article. I hope kept for the sake of creativity and because Pixiku Poetry IS a growing recognized form of poetry. You'd see if you just Googled Pixiku Poetry. I have a new rose bud on my rose bush in the backyard you aren't aware of yet still exists and so does Pixiku Poetry which can be verified by Googling Pixiku Poetry. You cannot see me yet I exist. Yes, I did invent Pixiku Poetry yet didn't create Pixiku Poetry article on Wikipedia to advertise and meant to share the definition and example so others can learn to do Pixiku Poetry, too. [edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've been adding your signature to some of your article contributions, such as you did to Ethel Maude Proffitt Stephenson. This is a simple mistake to make and by now should have been corrected. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talkpages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thanks for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! [edit]Thank you. My apologies...I just discovered when trying to write to you that only supposed to put two parenthesis with four tides between on talk page. Name and date automatically shows up when you put four tides between two parenthesis and I thought you were supposed to put on edits too. My user login name is Ms. Stephenson, i.e., see how automatically shows up: (Ms. Stephenson 03:25, 3 August 2007 (UTC))
Edits to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
[edit]Before I revert the inclusion again, let me first explain my reasons for doing so.
The addition of this information in it's current form into the article violates the WP:NPOV, WP:OR, WP:COI, WP:RS, WP:TRIVIA and also WP:COATRACK.
- WP:NPOV - the added text advertises the products of Sears and acts as a press release for them.
- WP:OR - the claim is not backed up by valid third party sources, it is a statement that has been created from tangential personal sources.
- WP:COI - you are the subject of this information and therefore will be biased about its relevance, importance and reason for inclusion
- WP:RS - none of the sources provided are deemed a Reliable Source
- WP:COATRACK - the information is not about Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, it is about Sears and Ms. Stephenson.
The information provided is only tangentially relevant to the article in the most part in that it skips over the possible source for the shows sponsorship in two paragraphs and then expounds on the mysterious Ms. Stephenson's love for Sears and it's products for three paragraphs.
Who IS Ms. Stephenson? where does she live? has Sears or the production company identified her as the source for the sponsorship? Is the fact that Sears sponsor the show and how that came about relevant to the article at all? Also why is Sears spelled SEARS throughout?
Please also note that Source 1 [1] is of no relevance to any of the statements you make being a list of products made by Sears, the same can be said of Source 2 [2]. Source 3 [3] is a self-published source which is not acceptable under WP:Reliable Sources and doesn't state whether the survey response was the reason for Sears undertaking sponsorship. If you have a letter that can be scanned in, this would be better as emails can be forged very very easily.
On a final note, by adding information from Source 3 unedited you are also in contravention of Wikipedia's policies on Copyright Violation with respect to Plagiarism, if you are the author of this content then you would have to declare a Conflict of Interest. Lastly, please do not sign contributions to articles as this can be seen as an assertion of ownership or vanity to the article, your edits are logged in the history instead.
Before attempting to re-include the statements in the article, consider rewriting and researching the claims so that they can be added to the encyclopaedia in a less contentious way. I would recommend something along the lines of the following -
- "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was first suggested as a format in .... Sponsorship was sought from a number of companies by the producers in.... Sears Roebuck and Company announced their sponsorship of the programme on... This was the result of a survey response from..."
Please note that without a verifiable statement from Sears or the production company implicitly referring to Ms Stephenson as the source for the sponsorship, this will only be removed again. - Foxhill 01:33, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hello and thank you for your time Foxhill...I'm not sure how to reply to you so I will here. What I'm saying is the truth which does put the series in a questionable position since using same sponsor I shared on my Extreme Makeover application question #46 to share biggest dream besides an Extreme Makeover.
I did share and lo and behold Extreme Makeover Home Edition using same sponsor I share thanked me for my "creative ideas", for SEARS to sponsor my home renovation series idea. If you've seen series you'd see SEARS synonymous with series Extreme Makeover Home Edition done as I suggested to advertise products SEARS carries. Often at end of show SEARS appliances and Craftsmen tools etc. used enumerated. On ABC Website of Extreme Makeover Home Edition SEARS logo, since sponsors, there too.
My name being in article is as appropriate as other names involved with series are. As far as links to Honor Bilt Homes. Well, an integral part of series is SEARS sponsors and what made my choice of SEARS as sponsor seem even more perfect was their building Honor Bilt Homes from 1908 - 1940 and that's interesting trivia. Pretty cool, actually, that kits shipped on train and plans in a beautiful leather bound holder with names of owners. The products listed on two links I gave are from 1908 - 1940 to assemble Honor Bilt Homes of that period 1908 - 1940.
I think the reason SEARS chosen as sponsor is because of learning SEARS thanked me for my "creative ideas" for SEARS to sponsor a home renovation series to show SEARS' line of products. It wasn't polite nor honorable for my idea on question #46 on my Extreme Makeover application to be used without giving me an Extreme Makeover nor what I requested IF idea used not accommodated as well.
It hurts a lot and I thought finally here y'all would be interested in the truth. I guess not. I still have the dated "thank you" from SEARS, February 7, 2002. Extreme Makeover Home Edition didn't begin until WAY after my thank you from SEARS. Extreme Makeover Home Editon uses the exact same sponsor, SEARS, that I shared thanked me for suggesting they sponsor my home renovation series idea on question #46 of my Extreme Makeover application months before Extreme Makeover Home Edition aired. I see there's no point to repost these facts to trivia so I won't yet nonetheless the truth and interesting trivia.
That's an odd feeling for the truth not to matter and I'd heard on CBS news Wikipedia not accurate yet until not being allowed to add what I added to Trivia on Extreme Makeover Home Edition I had not yet had that experience myself. I wasn't aware an official person was undoing so my apologies for reposting. I'm the official person who thought of SEARS sponsoring home renovation series and still have thank you from SEARS, of February 7, 2002. I wish that fact mattered as much. If you were me you would too. I appreciate the time you took and my apologies for my thinking I was supposed to end my edit entries with four tides between two parenthesis which shows my name since my user login name here, i.e., (Ms. Stephenson 04:11, 3 August 2007 (UTC))
