Speedy deletion of Pearson Crisp

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Pearson Crisp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Images

[edit]

For help in uploading and displaying images, please see WP:IMAGE. Also note that in nearly all cases, the images you upload MUST HAVE BEEN PERSONALY TAKEN by you, otherwise you will be in violation of wikipedia's or international copyright rules. So, you want me to skip school for a few days, get plane tickets, fly to South Korea, find these people, get GOOD pictures of them, get more plane tickets, fly back, and upload them? Personally, I don't see what the problem is as long as I give proper credit. I'm not claiming it as my own, so copyright can kiss my ass. <3 MusicallyObsessedBoi (talk) 00:46, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that means you should be blocked from Wikipedia by putting it into disrepute by uploading copyrighted images and claiming them as your own. If you don't want to follow copyright law, you don't have to edit this project or any other.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 07:29, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
{e/c) Well, if you dont want to follow our rules for uploading and using images, then you will either need to participate in Wikipedia without participating in images or continue to violate the copyright rules and be blocked from particpating at all. Your choice. Active Banana (bananaphone 07:31, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 07:46, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Further to the above-linked thread, I've blocked your account indefinitely because of a concern over your attitude to copyright (namely, your quote "copyright can kiss my ass") and the general lack of productive edits to your name. If you were to indicate that you understand what the problem was with the image you uploaded and undertake not to violate copyright in future, I could agree to unblocking. EyeSerenetalk 13:19, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, so I get accused of claiming an image as my own, AFTER I said that I WASN'T, so you ban me? I think you all are guilty here!MusicallyObsessedBoi (talk) 00:44, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No you were blocked because your attitude appeared to indicate that you had no intention of following our copyright rules which is unacceptable behavior. You can request an unblock and state that you made a mistake and that you fully intend to follow the copyright rules in the future. Active Banana (bananaphone 00:49, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
