Sharapova review
[edit]Hello and thanks for your message. I'm afraid I've moved on to another review and decided that I won't make further comment on Sharapova's GA nomination. Sorry. BlackJack | talk page 15:41, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Blocked from editing
[edit]I have placed a 12 hour block on your account, further to your continued disruption on Maria Sharapova (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). I intend to file for community sanctions on your account, with a view to preventing contributions to that article and/or interacting with Tennis expert, if there are further instances of disruption after the expiry of my block. As a rule of thumb, I would usually not issue a block for a single instance of disruptive editing, but instead would seek to advice and caution the editor; however, your disruption on that article has been long-standing (at least since my block for identical reasons—disruption on Maria Sharapova—in February 2008), and I do not feel confident that you will refrain from editing in a similar manner after a single warning.
Refrain from disruptive or "dickish" behaviour whilst editing, please, and be mindful that you are rapidly running out of last chances.

Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 17:40, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Tennis players
[edit]Hi Musiclover565. I'm not that bothered by "versions" which could be good, bad or ugly. I will say that I was responsible, pretty much single-handedly, for getting Hantuchova, Ivanovic and Kournikova to VGA (very good article), the Simple English Wikipedia version of FA. You should check them out as, although they are Simple English and quite a broad top level approach, they're well structured and well (and accurately) referenced. So head to Ana, Daniela and so on. And with 11 FAs here, I'd like to think I know what I'm doing. Sometimes you have to fight hard to get others to understand they don't own articles here. Anyway, I'm going to crack on making Sharapova better and hope you and others will join in. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:35, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Tennis project and featured content
[edit]Right now the Tennis wikiproject has no actual tennis featured content. Sure it has two FAs, both about video games, but for a project of such significance it's really poor. I'm trying to initiate a discussion as to why this is the case and what can be done about it and I was really hoping you could contribute to the discussion here. Thanks for your time.
