Re: The Black Parade[edit]

Nothing changes the fact that these are called "styles" and not "genres." I understand that most music articles cite "styles" and not "genres", but that doesn't make it right, nor does it make it Wikipedia policy. Unless it's sourced as a genre, it shouldn't be listed as a genre. Thank you. Friginator (talk) 16:38, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And don't worry, I don't view your edits as "trolling" or anything of the sort. I simply have to disagree with your reasoning. Friginator (talk) 16:44, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop edit warring over this. You keep making the argument that if this article is to be listed as "Pop/Rock", than other articles should be changed as well. That's fine with me, but it's not my job or responisbility. Other articles have no sway over this particular article. You can change them if you like. Please stop citing a source that specifically lists the "genres" as styles. Friginator (talk) 17:57, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Recent genre-warring.[edit]

First off, it is not my job to change any music articles just because of Allmusic. If you want to change them, go ahead. Second of all, please do not remove sourced genres from the infobox. Third, Wikipedia is not about truth, it is about verifiability. Just because something is "true" does not mean it can be added to this site. You've made these claims recently:

"i just want this band to be properly represented since pop rock is too general" --Whatever your opinion, the genre is sourced. Wanting to "properly represent" something is not the right attitude for Wikipedia.

"i just want my chemical romance to be called what they actually are" --What you want is irrelevant. What is relevant is whether or not something is sourced.

"im not trying to argue with you i just want the band to be properly represented to the masses yknow. i just dont think calling them pop rock is their real genre" Your personal opinions are irrelevant in the context of an encyclopedia. Please back up everything with the proper sources. It doesn't matter what you think is true. This is a key wikipedia policy.

Please stop this. And please stick to either editing under this username or your IP address, not both. Thank you. Friginator (talk) 18:51, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
