Reversions

Please stop reverting spaces around slashes, per MOS.

WP:SLASH:

A spaced slash may be used:

to separate run-on lines in quoted poetry or song (To be or not to be: that is the question: / Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer / The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune), or rarely in quoted prose, where careful marking of a paragraph break is textually important;

To separate items that include at least one internal space (the NY 31 east / NY 370 exit), where for some reason use of a slash is unavoidable.

@Packerfan386: You didn't put a space before the slash. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 13:04, 3 October 2021 (UTC)

Then add a space if it doesn't look right. :) Wholesale reversions of edits instead of fixing the issue(s) (esp. small ones) tends to go against the spirit of this site and collaborating with your fellow editors. Packerfan386beer here 13:13, 3 October 2021 (UTC)

talk pages

You can't erase comments from other user's talk pages.

You can do whatever you want to your OWN talk page (just like I can erase anything on MY talk page), but you can't do that to user pages that aren't your own (just like I can't delete anything from your talk page...I can add, but I can't take away).

It's almost like you didn't want me to see that message.

Regarding WTAE, it's like the WDCW discussion all over again...it doesn't matter if every station is town is sharing 1 spectrum - each station is it's own entity, and you shouldn't gunk up the works with piggybacks.

KJRH-TV

Hi,

Please don't say that my editing was vandalism. I am a meteorologist specialized in weather radar and I know what I do. A Doppler radar is a general term for any radar using the Doppler effect such as police traffic guns, navigational systems, etc... not only for Weather radar with Doppler velocity data. Using the term "Doppler radar" for a "Dopplerized weather radar" is a common misnomer in the US, as NEXRAD and radars used by TV stations are not only reporting Doppler velocity data but also, reflectivity (intensity of precipitation) and dual-polarization (type of precipitation) data.
