Hello

[edit]

Welcome to the fold. You may want to consider joining the Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey if you are interested. Are you from Owen Sound? I am originally from Durham, but currently living in Windsor.

I've been researching Junior Hockey on Wikipedia for about a year now and would appreciate any help that can be provided. In particular, I am sure you have noticed, I am in desperate need of standings from the Owen Sound region. I cannot travel to OS from Windsor to get standings, so I've been passing time by reseaching the SOJHL, WOHL, and GLJHL. DMighton 21:00, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nationals

[edit]

You may want to consider expanding the Toronto Nationals page. I don't really know anything about them other than there was an OPJHL team and a Metro B team at the same time in the 1970s and Gretzky played for the B team. DMighton 21:53, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please write back? DMighton 19:02, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How do I do it in the talk functionNCAA Watcher 19:35, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is it... just "edit this page" and write... you can do it on my talk page to. Just click on my name, and then click on discussion along the top of the page... or go here User talk:DMighton and write. DMighton 19:50, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Metro

[edit]

Do you have access to Metro standings? DMighton 20:23, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not the standings. I have been able to piece together the teams each year during the 80s.NCAA Watcher 20:41, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, you opinion... where do you think we could look for old Metro, Central, or even old Golden Horseshoe/Niagara standings? I know they have some old, old central in the Owen Sound library... they have most of the current Western in the Windsor... DMighton 21:40, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here We Go

[edit]

Check this out... MetJHL Standings... if you can add ANY Standings... go ahead... any playoff results.... go ahead. My goal is to get the standings right back until its founding... I'll be doing this for the Central too. DMighton 16:03, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you are interested... we also have the CJBHL Standings. DMighton 02:13, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Belleville Bobcats has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Likely non notable junior ice hockey club. Has been unsourced for the past 15+ years, and a search does not turn up any immediately promising sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Asartea Talk | Contribs 19:04, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
