Howdy. Just wanted to advise you that you might want to pick a different username. People may assume you're a vandal. I'm not saying you are a vandal (I see no evidence of this) but this name might cause trouble for you. Friday (talk) 16:59, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the tip; bizarrely, I had never considered it a potential problem (short-sighted of me, I know). Nancy Vandal is the name of a band and that's where I got my username from. It's probably too much to expect anyone outside of a certain subset of Australian youth to recognise the name, but if it does eventually become a problem I probably will acquire a new name.
