By the way, be careful when editing not to delete the bold words in the introduction of articles (like you did at solar cell). The title of an article always appears in boldface near the beginning of the first sentence. Synonyms and other related concepts that "redirect" to the article are also supposed to appear in bold somewhere in the introduction, so the intro to solar cell contains solar cell, photovoltaic cell, and photovoltaic effect in bold, because those terms all redirect to this one article. Deleting the bolded phrases can lead to confusion for readers. Your edit was otherwise good, so nobody noticed the deletion for a couple weeks. --Srleffler 23:45, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Solar cells

Hi, and a belated "welcome" to Wikipedia. I noticed your comments on the solar cell talk page which leads me to believe that you are indeed competent and knowledgeable concerning the subject. I will urge you to be bold and edit the article any way you see fit - if other editors disagree with you they will most likely post to your talk page or start a discussion on the talk page of the article - nothing to worry about. If your edits are factually accurate the only issues will most likely be concerning style and/or format.

While the Wiki-community can accomplish good articles through the principles of collaboration it is essentially still the experts within their respective areas of expertise which elevates the articles to truly great status - so your input is both needed and much appreciated.
