Thank you for feedback

[edit]

Thank you for your feedback! The entry is now live! I rewrote much of the biography section and added additional pertinent information. I expanded a lot on Price's career and attempted to highlight major personal information, events, and achievements which took place. Finally, I also included a brief section explaining Price's general reception within the public and literary circle. Full references are now included throughout the entry!

Feedback on your sandbox work

[edit]

Hi, Nick! I'm providing some feedback about sandboxes in your class today, so I wanted to give you a few notes. First of all, I'm so glad you incorporated the existing work on Reynolds Price into your sandbox draft, so you can truly build on the article and make it that much better! A lot of people really struggle with that in the first edits. It also looks like you've helped transform the writing into a more accessible, encyclopedic style than the previous version, so great job on that. Don't forget, though, to add citations within the text and try to format those references according to Wikipedia norms. Here is a handout on reference formatting that can hopefully help you along with the process. Of course you can always post on my talk page, too, if you need any advice. Best of luck, and please don't hesitate to reach out for any support! JMathewson (WMF) (talk) 20:01, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nick142! As a student editor on Wikipedia, you have a lot of valuable experience about what it's like to edit as a part of a classroom assignment. In order to help other students like you enjoy editing while contributing positively to Wikipedia, it's extremely helpful to hear from real student editors about their challenges, successes, and support needs. Please take a few minutes to answer these questions by clicking below. (Note that the responses are posted to a public wiki page.) Thanks!
