Esquire Clothier & Product Designer. Esquire Clothier & Product Design Tutor/Lecturer (On/Off).

Born in a family of renowned Swiss entrepreneurs, Nick F Cerutti is one of the few members of his tribe not to have committed to the century old family business.

Instead, like his great-grandfather and founder of the latter did long before him, Nick F Cerutti chose to peregrine the World, and gather the extensive knowledge of refined, high-end goods production which is his today, and which makes him a rare, meticulous, hard-working, market-aware, product-driven professional.

He, who as a young child lived across the hall from another of his great-grandfathers, a Tailor, kept of his toddler's years the sights and sounds of shears then the length of his arms cutting into the finest suitings, and naturally grew to fall into Menswear when he moved to London in his mid-teens, with the passion and the respect he had once witnessed in Hermann Weinghart's craftsmanship as a child, and in Angelo Cerutti's, his grandfather, who taught him the rudiments of crochet, embroidery, and tapestry.

Sentient people would soon get tired with consuming highly priced goods the origin of which is purposely blur, Nick F Cerutti founded his very own line of selected, pristine goods in 2001 : "GERTRUD & GEORGE ™", also known as "Gert, Emmett, Reymond, Todd, Robert, Urb, Derrick, Guy, Eugene, Oz, Rüdi, Greer & Edmond". The line, which slowly took off through hear-say in the mid-00's, is much more subdued, subtle, refined, and coherent with the times than most would expect. Less even from someone who has not reached his mid-30's yet. Further more, instead of seasonal goods, it develops perennial sets of pieces destined to a Man's wardrobe today, which fills up as time goes by.

Expert in foreseeing, identifying, and setting new key trends; developing new lines or types of products through to 3D, and serving specific heritage or culture-related briefs Nick F Cerutti, who left Central Saint Martins College following Giles Deacon's advice upon entering into his third year, has worked/consulted as a Senior Designer and/or Illustrator for the likes of : ALLY CAPELLINO (London, UK), DUNHILL (London, UK), SAATCHI & SAATCHI (Nyon, CH), SAATCHI & SAATCHI (Genève, CH), ZIMMERLI OF SWITZERLAND (Olten, CH), VIBGYOR C/o BEING, Inc. (Ōsaka, JP), LOUIS VUITTON (Paris, FR), IFS (Tōkyō, JP), GREENFIELD CLOTHIERS (Brooklyn, New York , US), CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS COLLEGE's DESIGN LABORATORY (London, UK), SUZUSEN Co., Ltd. (Tōkyō, JP), and more.

He also developed and taught his own Esquire Clothier & Menʼs Product Design sets of lectures at University in Genève, CH.
