Story 1) Here is a story from Scott Hunter of the band Biggy Rat. This is an interesting story having to do with the Cleveland Agora. My name is Scott Hunter and I was in a band with Jim Gustafson must notably of Poobah fame. The band was Biggy Rat, from 1969 to 1972, and we were doing Wednesdays at the Cleveland Agora. Gus and I had tickets to the Who concert in Pittsburgh Civic Arena on a Tuesday night in 1971 and of course we were blown away. This was the Won't Get Fooled Again/Who's Next tour. Great show. Thursday night the Who were scheduled to play in Cleveland at Public Hall. The Rat then played the Wednesday gig following the Tuesday Who show at Cleveland Agora. As we finished Keith Moon and John Entwistle strolled in and we all started to socialize. Entwistle was my hero at the time so like an idiot I took my bass over to him and asked him to play the bass solo from My Generation on it. He very politely did it three or four times and I never washed that bass again. Keith Moon was a very bubbly guy and walked about the room making sure he'd introduced himself to everybody. He had on this cool looking crushed velvet green suit with a tie. They gave us stage passes to the show at Public Hall the next night and it was great. We all went back to the Agora with Townsend, Moon and Entwistle and had some drinks. I had soda as I was only 17 and not much of a drinker. That's where I got that picture with Keith Moon. Townsend was very spacey and did not socialize whereas Moon was the life of the party and always trying to meet everybody. Entwistle was very friendly as well but there mainly to pick up chicks. Daltry did not show up but I did walk past him back stage at Public Hall and he seemed about 5' 2". A very cool couple of nights. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Youngstownrocknrollhistory (talkcontribs) 18:29, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
