[edit]First, welcome to Wikipedia!
What we need to resolve any potential disagreement at “Velocity of money” is a “reliable” source. (I put “reliable” in quotation marks because Wikipedia has its own peculiar definition of “reliability”, and it is helpful when an editor is familiar with that definition.)
Although I've done a lot of the editing of “Velocity of money”, I've been sticking to the theory side of it. While I specialized in money-and-banking (along with economic history) as an undergrad, I haven't much looked at that stuff since, and I have no real feel for the data. —SlamDiego←T 21:21, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
First time I have ever made any comment, so I am not aware of the reliability definition. I got the data I quoted from Bloomberg. Looking around a bit more Bloomberg actually tracks their version of it with an index VELOM2 Index, in case you have access to a Bloomberg. I imagine there would be copyright issues with directly using their data though. The raw data should be fairly available directly from government websites though.
