Hello Natasha I am an online ambassador for your class. This means I will help you out with work and life in Wikipedia. You can contact me on my talk page or through email Special:EmailUser/Graeme Bartlett. Since your topic is Ug99 which is a redirect to Stem rust#Ug99, it is more tricky to edit this. You can use [1] to link to the redirect and edit it into an article. But also you can ask yourself should the article be called Puccinia graminis tritici, or should you just expand the Stem rust article? Graeme Bartlett (talk) 00:07, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When you do a reference with <ref>url and reference</ref> tags, you put this ref tag immediately after the text that it refers to. It will automatically appear where the reflist template is located and you do not have to put it there. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 08:51, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ref numbers[edit]

Hi the references are supposed to be numbering automatically, and the idea is that you do not type in the number. Instead put in something like this for the other places that need the same references: <ref name="Stem Rust of Wheat"/>. Note that you need to use the same " at the start and end, not the right and left double quote that word likes to add. And you put in a / on the end of the tag instead of a </ref>. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 01:48, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is the quotes you are using on the name. You put <ref name="SRW“/> when it should be <ref name="SRW"/>, can you see the difference in the second quote? Just use the shift-' on the keyboard and no fancy stuff from word processors. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:05, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is looking much better now! Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:38, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
