[edit]Hello, I'm Richard BB. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Gender inequality in Sudan seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Richard BB 18:15, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Greetings, Sir or Madam. I am NavyBlueSunglasses. Very recently, you undid a number of edits on the article Gender inequality in Sudan (previously mentioned above), one of which was mine. Your rationale for doing so was your view that the edits in question were Islamophobic and linked to unreliable sources. A number of facts are relevant here: First of all, I happen to be of Sudanese origin myself, so this issue hits particularly close to home for me. Secondly, I did not nor did I intend to use any Islamophobic language. Additionally, my contention was substantiated by a valid source. I am aware that FGM has now officially been repealed in Sudan, but that's partially beside the point. If you would like to discuss with me how what I said was inflammatory, feel free to reach me via my talk page. Have a nice day.
