Zaytheory

Oscar Alfredo Zayas (Born Guatemala City, 24 July 2000) better known by his artistic/producer name Zaytheory, is an Guatemalan music producer, sound designer and Dj.

He was worked with numerous artists along the Central American music industry’s ass well with brands of all kinds thhrough his audio branding company, Upper Sound.

Style

Zaytheory is known for his wide versatility in music productior moving from urban Latin to pop. Always leaving his personal stamp with purpose-designed synthesizers, his catchy melodies and his purposeful musical structure.

Biography

Starting to produce and mix at the age of 12, he had a self-taught training process until he was 17 years old when he entered one of the most prestigious private universities in Latin America, where he developed his talent, his vision and created with work networks to develop his artistic project from his country to later move to Europe.

Music Career

Zaytheory's career began in 2017 with the release of his first single called "Long Way" under the De la Vega Records label based in his native country, it is worth mentioning that this was released under his first artist name which was "Dj Zayas". She continued her career with her second release "Journey" in 2018 which had a drastic change in the musical style of her first release, however maintaining the essence of the project.

Devoting the following years to perfecting his skills as a music producer and composer at university and on his own, he put his career on hold until 2020 where he began producing other artists on the Central American music scene, producing between 2020- 2022 an approximate of 30 singles for different artists. Among them his most recent single "That i loved" released in 2022.

He is currently emerging as one of the most promising producers on the local scene, at only 22 years old he is constantly growing and looking for opportunities with foreign record labels.
