G'day!

[edit]

G'day there, OPaul, and welcome to Wikipedia! Good authors are always welcome on the project, and I hope you like the place and decide to stick around!

We've got a few pages you might find helpful, such as:

It's all best summed up here: write from a neutral point of view, play nice with others, and don't let the rules get you down.

If you have any questions or need any help, my talkpage is always open for business, or you can see Wikipedia:Newcomers help page. Here's a tip to start you off: if you type four tildes (~~~~) at the end of any messages you leave on talkpages (like this one) Wikipedia will automatically insert your name and the current date and time after your message. Cool, eh? Happy editing!fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 06:22, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

US vs. British English

[edit]

Please be careful about changing the spelling of articles. The consensus is to keep the article in whatever form of English it began with. Also your point about it being produced by a US company is a tenuous one. It was co-produced by MGM, Columbia Pictures, Eon Productions, Danjaq, Babelsberg Film GmbH, Stillking Films and United Artists. Of those the British Eon Productions is given most prominent credit ("Albert R. Broccoli's Eon Productions Limited presents...") Mark83 21:19, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I was not aware the page started in British English. - OPaul 21:23, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry

[edit]

Sorry about editing your post. I deleted the strike out, and changed my post to better explain why Ma'am rhymes with “arm." So your question about the strikeout no longer made sense.

Casino Royale comment

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for the reference to policy, but I'm well aware of it. I "striked" a comment which was erroneous. Editing someone's comment would involve removing information and/or changing the content. My edit preserved the original content while allowing other users to see that it was wrong. I could have just added a comment below, but I wanted to make it clear to other users. The comment was not directed specifically at you. - OPaul 01:07, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
