Edit summaries / Minor edits
[edit]Hi, again welcome. I agree with all the changes you made here including the deletion of the rambling commentary, but can I make two small, polite suggestions:
- Please only use the minor edit tag when your changes are only superficial - it should not be used when deleting large amounts of content
- Please try to include an accurate edit summary (in this case perhaps "fixed spelling and removed unsourced original research").
I say this because people (like me) might notice the minor tag and/or the edit summary which is inconsistent with the fact that the file decreased in size by some 200-300 bytes and it may cause people to suspect mischief which clearly isn't the case here. I know that edit summaries often feel like extra work (and I continue to try to improve my use of them) but it is worthwhile. Thanks, and happy editing. 7 talk | Δ | 23:20, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
