PC Keeper
[edit]Thanks for your edits on the PCKeeper article, they were good. I'm wondering why you removed the words 'advertised as' from the first sentence? It is controversial about whether the software is a genuine utility or scareware (probably a bit of both). There's been class action law suits about the software exaggerating problems in order to scare users to get a paid subscription. I tested this myself when I installed PC Keeper on a clean installation of Windows 8 - it told me I had a number of critical problems but wouldn't give me details until I paid money. So I think the "advertised as" qualifier is justified. I think we should be cautious about relying too much on what their web site says - its mostly marketing and promotional information.
