1st warning re vandalism

[edit]

Please do not vandalize Wikipedia as you did with the Anthony Burgess article or this IP may be blocked from editing privileges. Quis separabit? 15:24, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It is regrettable that you think i would vandalize the page of someone i admire deeply and who has profoundly affected my life. Moreover, your claim is false on its face because there is a difference between interring and inurning. Bodies are interred. Ashes, Burgess was cremated, are inurned. Making such a change could not possibly be vandalism. Finally, to charge vandalism and blockage after such a change is, well, kind of creepy. Ruse Article

[edit]

There are substantial problems with this article that have to be worked out. Ruse's honors and awards are coming back in. What's more, we are going to rely on Ruse's own words rather than the paraphrases of advocates. His words hang Ruse better than any advocates polemics. This page is wholly unprofessional and anyone reading will understand it is not really useful.

Your recent editing history at Austin Ruse shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Further reverts put you in jeopardy of a block for edit-warring. Discuss your proposed changes on the talk page. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 15:08, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, you have already violated 3RR - if you revert the page again, I will file a complaint at WP:3RRNB. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 15:10, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As you should able to see form the edits, the war was started by the other editor, who has changed my edits numerous times. I have asked this perso why the UN is not a reliable source. I have invited this person to this page, but so far this person has declined. You can see my invitation above.
