Human Resources and Skills Development Canada has numerous reports on Adult Education and Training available via publications and resources. If we need statistics to support our claims we should be able to find the information we need at HRSDC.

Canada has been noted on the UNESCO website as, "...the forefront of innovations in UNESCO's programmes in education." Perhaps a site to explore when considering where we go from here with training development.

Jon,

Your idea to narrow the focus within each time period to one or two events makes sense. The amount of information available on this topic is overwhelming! I am in agreement that we should establish time frames and select several major events for each period to discuss.
