Hi there! I noticed that your username (Pantichassistant) seems to imply a position (or job) rather than an individual. Our username policy doesn't allow for usernames such as that that are for a position or a title that could change persons at any time (other examples would be DellCEO or AppleIntern). If you wouldn't mind, to avoid problems, going to WP:CHU and requesting a username change, I'd appreciate it. Some instructions follow :)
- Go to this tool, and type in the username you are thinking of changing it to.
- If:
- It shows information within the "SUL info" box, you can't take this username as it's already someone else's across all Wikipedia projects.
- It shows no information under "SUL info", but shows more "unattached accounts" on other projects with more than 9 edits, you can't take it because someone else (whoever has the account with the most edits) would own the global username.
- It shows no information under "SUL info", but shows "unattached accounts" with less than 9 edits, and one of them is on "enwiki" (the English Wikipedia) and the enwiki one has 0 edits - you may have this username, but you'll need to go to WP:CHU/U and "usurp" the name. If the enwiki one has more than 0 edits, you can't take the username.
- It shows no information under "SUL info", but shows "unattached accounts", and none of the unattached accounts are on enwiki, you may have the username after a request at WP:CHU/S.
- It shows no information under "SUL info", and there are no unattached accounts, you can take this name at WP:CHU/S.
Hope this helps - if you have any questions feel free to ask me. ~Charmlet -talk- 20:01, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
