Shooting survivors: Sam Houston

I see no mention that Sam Houston was shot other than in battle. I don't think that makes him a shooting survivor in the same way as others to which you added this category. Otherwise every soldier, sailor, marine, airman wounded in battle could be put in the category, which would make it too large to be meaningful and would not distinguish the "shooting victim" as commonly understood. If the article needs additional facts and references to show Houston was in that category, please add them. If I am otherwise wrong, please let me know so the article can be edited again.
