Hello. Thanks four your message. Unfortunately I do not know much about Countess Andrássy but I think your presumption is correct. Her husband Gyula Andrássy, Jr. was a very prominent politician during the First World War. Eleonóra's service might be a symbolic act that the Hungarian elite also took part in sacrifice.
