advice, and status.

[edit]
you should have been notified that the article on the club was nominated itself for speedy deletion by another editor as promotional, even if the material has copyright permission. As reviewing administrator I found that there was a substantial information component, so I did not delete it. But the article has problems, and may well be nominated for deletion by the regular process. I would adivse you to do the following 1. Write a separate article on the sport, and on the club. I do not think Wikipedia presently has one on the sport, and it is unlikely to be familiar to our readers. Try to find some actual books on it as references. (Catalan is OK, though of course English is better). 2. For the club, you need to show notability with references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases 3. You also need to write like an encyclopedia article, not a press release--don't praise yourself, say what you do. 4 Decide which pictures belong in which article--don;t use them all in both. For the one on the club, a few selected ones will be much better than a gallery of all your triumphs. 5. For further information see our FAQ about business, organisations, and articles like this, and see also our guide to writing Wikipedia articles. I know the other Wikipedias accepted it, but the English Wikipedia is somewhat more stringent about references than some of the others. Fortunately, though, the copyright permission will do for all. I advise you to improve this article very quickly, and be alert for a possible deletion request. DGG (talk) 21:35, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
